Retirement Plan: Dividend Income from stocks in the PSE

One idea of retirement that I have wrapped my head around is income from dividend stocks.

I have written my experience with $SPC in an earlier article that you can read here.

The gist is you buy a stock monthly through PCA and accumulate a number of shares throughout a long amount of time.

Let it compound interest over time and reinvest the dividend income.

It’s more about a habit of saving that does earn instead of depreciating and just rotting away in traditional banks.

Seems Simple But Not Really

It’s not just a one time lump sum. The key to this is consistent investments!

It’s really just saving. Keep on investing and make it a habit. Your budget is always deducted with the investment first.

It takes a long time to ROI.

The goal is to save a LOT! Invest millions!

The problem is how to get there.

How to get there

It all comes down to self-improvement.
Upskilling and constant learning in order to have a higher salary.
Be successful in business or other means.

This is the next step after accumulating assets. This is wealth retention not just wealth generation.

This is the path but every step is year-in-year-out grind to widen the percent you earn and save!
