How I Spend Less On Coffee
I started seeing Nescafe’s Black Roast instant coffee in supermarket shelves and gave it a try.
Not a sponsored post, pero #BakaNaman!
I found that it is a lot better than the classic one. Definitely a lot better than 3-in-1s too and I prefer omitting sugar and creamer.
An 80g pack from SnR is around ₱110. The recommended serving is 2 grams per cup. You can make 40 cups as indicated in the packaging.
I prefer to make mine with around 4 grams or just under a teaspoon of instant coffee.
Let’s Break It Down
So for my preference of 4 grams per cup.
I can make 20 cups of coffee per 80 gram pack of Nescafe Black Roast.
₱110 / 20 cups = ₱5.5
For comparison a 3-in-1 pack is around ₱7-10 now.
I can save a lot more too if I start buying a bigger bag but can’t find one at the moment.
Cold Coffee?
Instead of buying a ₱50-90 cold coffee drink, you can easily make your own at home.
Try out my recipe for Iced Coffee.
3 teapoons (4 grams x 3 = 12 grams) of Nescafe Black Roast in 500ml of water. Good for 3 servings.
Serve in a glass with ice and a splash of milk and let me know how much you like it!
Hey there my friends!
